Comment Posting Policy

To maintain a healthy, constructive and respectful environment for discussion among readers, you are requested to follow the policies below when commenting on the ‘Mirror Bangla’ news portal:

Language & Relevance

  • Relevance: Comments must be relevant to the news or the specific subject being read.

  • Personal attacks & threats: Refrain completely from attacking anyone personally, intimidating anyone or making threats of any kind in a comment.
  • Obscenity: No obscene, indecent, vulgar or suggestive words of any kind may be used.
  • Name-calling & belittling: Calling anyone by a derogatory animal name to belittle them, or distorting anyone’s name in a comment, is strictly prohibited.

Law, Religion & Sensitivity

  • Respect for the law: Comments that violate any law in force in Bangladesh or the Constitution may not be posted.
  • Religious & personal sentiments: Refrain from comments that could hurt any religion, religious belief or anyone’s personal sentiments.
  • Discrimination & hatred: Derogatory or hateful comments about any particular person, ethnicity, group or language may not be posted.

Spam & Profiles

  • Link sharing: No website links of any kind may be shared in the comment box of a news story.
  • Use of pseudonyms: No motivated, offensive or vulgarly suggestive name or pseudonym may be used when commenting.

Accountability & the Authority’s Rights

  • Responsibility for opinions: Opinions published in the comment box are entirely the reader’s own. The ‘Mirror Bangla’ authority shall in no way be responsible for any comment published by readers.

পাঠকদের জন্য একটি সুস্থ, গঠনমূলক ও সম্মানজনক আলোচনার পরিবেশ বজায় রাখতে ‘মীরর বাংলা’ নিউজ পোর্টালে মন্তব্য করার ক্ষেত্রে নিম্নলিখিত নীতিমালাগুলো মেনে চলার অনুরোধ করা হলো:

ভাষা ও প্রাসঙ্গিকতা

  • প্রাসঙ্গিকতা: মন্তব্য অবশ্যই পঠিত সংবাদ বা নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়বস্তুর সাথে প্রাসঙ্গিক হতে হবে।
  • বাংলা হরফ বাধ্যতামূলক: মন্তব্য অবশ্যই বাংলা ভাষায় এবং বাংলা হরফে লিখতে হবে। ইংরেজি হরফে লেখা বাংলা (Banglish) মন্তব্য সরাসরি বাতিল বলে গণ্য হবে।
  • বাক্য গঠন: অসংলগ্ন বা অর্থহীন বাক্যের মন্তব্য প্রকাশ করা হবে না। তবে দৃষ্টিকটু বানান ভুল বা অসম্পূর্ণ বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে ‘মীরর বাংলা’ কর্তৃপক্ষ তা সম্পাদনা সাপেক্ষে প্রকাশ করতে পারে।

শিষ্টাচার ও আচরণবিধি

  • ব্যক্তিগত আক্রমণ ও হুমকি: মন্তব্যে কাউকে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে আক্রমণ করা, ভয় দেখানো বা কোনো ধরনের হুমকি দেওয়া থেকে সম্পূর্ণ বিরত থাকতে হবে।
  • অশ্লীলতা: কোনো প্রকার অশ্লীল, অশালীন, কুরুচিপূর্ণ বা ইঙ্গিতবাহী শব্দ ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।
  • নাম বিকৃতি ও হেয়করণ: কোনো ব্যক্তিকে হেয় প্রতিপন্ন করতে অবমাননাকর কোনো প্রাণীবাচক নাম দেওয়া বা কারো নাম বিকৃত করে মন্তব্য করা সম্পূর্ণ নিষিদ্ধ।

  • আইনের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা: বাংলাদেশের প্রচলিত কোনো আইন বা সংবিধান লঙ্ঘন করে এমন মন্তব্য করা যাবে না।
  • ধর্মীয় ও ব্যক্তিগত অনুভূতি: কোনো ধর্ম, ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাস বা কারও ব্যক্তিগত অনুভূতিতে আঘাত হানতে পারে এমন মন্তব্য থেকে বিরত থাকুন।
  • বৈষম্য ও বিদ্বেষ: কোনো নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি, জাতি, গোষ্ঠী বা ভাষার প্রতি অবমাননামূলক বা বিদ্বেষমূলক মন্তব্য করা যাবে না।

স্প্যাম ও প্রোফাইল

  • লিংক শেয়ারিং: সংবাদের মন্তব্যের ঘরে কোনো প্রকার ওয়েবসাইটের লিংক (Link) শেয়ার করা যাবে না।
  • ছদ্মনাম ব্যবহার: মন্তব্য করার ক্ষেত্রে উদ্দেশ্যমূলক, আপত্তিকর বা কুরুচিপূর্ণ ইঙ্গিতবাহী কোনো নাম বা ছদ্মনাম ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।

দায়বদ্ধতা ও কর্তৃপক্ষের অধিকার
